State Member for Wallsend, Ms Sonia Hornery MP, is calling on everyone from all walks of life to celebrate Harmony Day and the rich cultural diversity that makes Australia a great place to live.

The Electorate of Wallsend is richly diverse and has flourished with waves of migration. This cultural diversity is one of our greatest assets.

The central message for Harmony Day is that ‘everyone belongs’, reinforcing the importance of inclusiveness to all Australians.

March 21 is also the United Nations International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and is a chance for all Australians to celebrate cultural diversity.
