State Member for Wallsend, Ms Sonia Hornery MP, is calling for better Police resources in the Wallsend electorate after a crime spree over the Christmas and New Year period hit Wallsend, Maryland, Fletcher and Minmi.
Local residents have contacted Ms Hornery’s office to advise of an increasing number of home break-ins, stolen cars, theft from motor vehicles and speeding cars.
Ms Hornery will be seeking an urgent meeting with the new Newcastle Local Area Commander to seek better resources for the area.
