State Member for Wallsend, Ms Sonia Hornery MP, has welcomed the news that the Newcastle Lord Mayor and Councillors will use money slated for an increase in their allowance to be put towards the Wallsend Local Centre Public Domain Plan.
The Wallsend Local Centre Public Domain Plan has been well received by local residents who have had input throughout the planning process.
The money will assist with further community consultation and take the plan another step closer to finalisation.
