State Member for Wallsend, Ms Sonia Hornery MP, has welcomed the appointment of Catherine Cusack to the role of Parliamentary Secretary for the Hunter.

Following the appointment, Ms Cusack announced that she will be the “best friend” of anyone who wants to sell the region’s story on the world stage.

Ms Hornery has extended an invitation to the new Parliamentary Secretary to visit the Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange.

The Lake Macquarie Transport Interchange, the number one priority infrastructure project in the Hunter, remains unfunded and incomplete.
