State Member for Wallsend, Ms Sonia Hornery MP, will this week commence a new Parliamentary role after last week being appointed Temporary Speaker.
The role will require Ms Hornery to fill the Speaker’s Chair during debate during the Parliamentary sitting week, when the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are unavailable.
Ms Hornery previously held the role of Temporary Speaker from May 2011 until February 2014.
