Quotes attributable to Member for Wallsend, Sonia Hornery

“For the last few weeks residents and businesses have been raising issues with me and I will be sharing those concerns with the new Newcastle Local District Commander.”

“It is obvious that we are in the middle of a crime spree in parts of the Wallsend electorate.”

“I want to see a commitment to increasing the presence of Police in this part of the electorate. We are sick and tired of being ignored on the fringes.”

“The people committing these crimes know that the Police have a long way to travel to get out to these areas and happily take their time.”

“This is simply not good enough. I will not allow this to continue.”

“There must be more Police resources allocated to the outer areas of the Wallsend electorate.”
