The Petition of residents of the Newcastle Local Government Area brings to the attention of the House their disappointment at being excluded from the Regional Seniors Travel Card pilot program as the eligibility criteria leaves many vulnerable seniors without access to the card.
The undersigned petitioners therefore ask the Legislative Assembly to ask the Minister for Regional Transport and Roads to ensure eligible residents in the Newcastle Local Government Area are included in the pilot of this program.
